Q: Where are you located? A: We are located in Winnipeg, Manitoba (Canada)
Q: How long have you been photographing weddings? A: We have over 30 years experience. One of our photographers has been photographing weddings himself for over 32 years!
Q: Do you set a time limit as to how long you will cover a wedding for? A: NO NO NO! When you book with us, we are yours for the DAY. YOU set the start time, YOU set the end time. This is YOUR day.... don’t put a time limit on your memories!!!
Q: Do you charge for multiple location? A: NO! When you book your wedding photos with us, we are yours for the DAY.
Q: Do you charge for KM's? A: Due to gas prices, we charge $75 additional for any weddings 45-11/2 hours outside Winnipeg & $125.00 additional for any weddings 11/2 - 21/2 hours outside Winnipeg. Anything over 2 1/2 hours can be discussed upon booking.
Q: Do you have more than 1 photographer? A: YES. Not only do we have two photographers available if you require them for your wedding, but we also have a photography coordinator that can help during those weddings with multiple venues and/or tight timelines!
Q: Why do I need to book with someone who uses more than one photographer, a graphics person and coordinator? A: This is an incredibly important day - you need to make sure you are 'covered' no matter what. What if something happens to a one-and-only photographer? Car problems...personal problems... double booking...camera problems? With us, you are ALWAYS covered. With us, you are always covered because we have; 3 cameras, multiple lenses, 3 vehicles, 4 computers, each person has a personal cell phone, back-up lighting and backgrounds....and the list goes on!
Q: Do you require a deposit - and if so how much? A: Yes we require a deposit of $300 in order for your date to be held. This deposit goes against your final total, and is not refundable - but if you require a date change we will of course try our best to accommodate your needs.
Q: How can we pay for our photography package? A: We offer a few options for payment. You have the option of splitting up your deposits into two or three payments - 1st your deposit ($300), 2nd the day of your wedding & 3rd at receipt of your wedding photos.
Q: Can we make our own package? OR Change one of the pre-set packages to suit our needs? A: Absolutely - we can build your own package - or change/exchange/remove or add anything to our pre-set package options. Just contact us for a quote! melissa@seeourmemories.com
Q: Can you do Engagement/Save-the-date photos? And what is the charge for this? A: Yes we can set up a 30min - 1hr photo session at the location(s) of your choice. There is NO charge for this - it is included in your package pricing. If you would like extra prints to send out ahead of time (before your wedding) we would charge per-print.
Q: What is your whole process? A: 1. We (photographer(s) and/or coordinator) meet with you to go over package choice, exclusions and/or inclusions you want to your package. Deposit is given to book your date. You receive your 'Wedding Memories' book - to start filling out with your memories! - or to use for your guest book. 2. A week before wedding date we either meet in person or on the phone to confirm start times and locations. 3. Wedding day - we photograph your wedding until whatever time you choose. 4. 2-3 weeks after your wedding we will set up a convenient time to meet in order to deliver your album. Included in your album will be a completion and re-order form - dependant upon what package you select. 5. 5-15 business days after receiving your completion form, all remaining prints and products will be delivered. (Time variance depends on both the type of products ordered and the quantity)
Q: Can we make our own prints off the CD we receive? A: YES! All the images on the CD are High Resolution jpegs - and are completely copyright-free.
Q: What is a Reception Slideshow? A: With the help of both the Groom and Bride’s Parents & the wedding party, we create a Slideshow of all the photos - displayed from baby/youth photos, through engagement photos right up to the wedding photos - with everything set to music This is a wonderful asset to have at your reception - as an introduction to both sides of the family, or a great way to incorporate those family members who are no longer with us into your wedding celebration! We can play the slideshow at any point - normally when dinner or dessert is just rapping up.
Q: What is a ‘Wedding Memories’ album? A: Our photo albums are a beautiful recollection of your entire wedding experience. Our books incorporate multiple pages of writing and scrap booking areas. Our wedding books provide pages you can use for wedding showers, socials, as well as a guest book! There is pages for documenting your vows, speeches, music, family trees....and so much more. It’s a complete all-in-one book!
Q: How does On-Line Viewing and Ordering work? A: After your wedding photos have been delivered, we will put all your photos on the internet. They will all be password protected - so only those you give it to will be able to view them. Password, which will be given to the Bride and Groom upon delivery of their photos, can be given out via thank-you cards, word of mouth, or e-mail.
